My youngest daughter taken with a Kodak digital camera. by johnfalconer

My youngest daughter taken with a Kodak digital camera.

This was taken in 2000 with a Kodak DC210 I bought in 1999. My first digital camera. I think Kodak made digital cameras from around 1996 to around 2001? Then someone at Kodak decided there was no future in digital photography?? The money and profit was still in film and printing. Who knows but it sent them broke.
And now she will be a young adult! 2000 doesn't sound so long ago but it is in the first decades of a child's life!

A bit like the Betamax v VHS competition at one time! It’s a lovely photo from all aspects!

Adorable! It is a shame they did not jump on the digital era.

Lovely shot. It was a huge error of judgement from Kodak.

Kodak was the one who developed the commercial digital camera, but decided that it would take away from their cash cow - film. Beautiful captured expression

I often wonder what happened to the team that made the decision.
