This shot needs brightening up to make it look exciting. At the moment it is both dark, lacking contrast and has a blue cast. The subject matter is of course delightful and gives promise of warmer days. If you shoot in RAW you can easily manipulate the exposure, contrast & correct the colour balance. The industry standard is Photoshop (&/or Lightroom). I hope you don't mind the critique?
