Here I am halfway through constructing the first of two Andirondak chairs. Very hot work (hence the hat) and much mumbling through gritted teeth! 29 long screws and 17 shorter ones where do they all go? Once I've finished I then have to apply a coating of very smelly stuff that will enable them to last approx. 25 years. They will out-live me :-(

No not from Ikea. However, the instructions were misinterpreted by yours truly and the horizontal piece that you see had been assembled upside down! Now removed and put where it is supposed to be :-)
