The weather yesterday was appalling so I stayed indoors for most of it. I spent some time with sellotape, cardboard, a remote flashgun with a wireless trigger,the back of my black leather chair and YouTube in order to get a picture with a completely black background even in broad daylight. Hey presto! it works :-) Yes I know it's sad but it was better than trying to do gardening in the rain.
BTW it looks better on black.
