Church bell mount

A Boxing Day walk through the village and this old church bell mount is standing in the weedy bit of the churchyard but with some lovely white Vinca in bloom and the stems of dogwood behind. Spring is on it's way :-)

Ah, I have always wondered what that white flower was called - thank you! Clearly a bell in repose here.
