Blue Fly

I found this very blue fly in the conservatory and I thought that it deserved to have its picture taken.

First thought eeee-ooh glad you found it and not me and then I looked again at your capture. For an f8 I see a superb clear shot of every macro detail.

Thank you both. The blue iridescence is what 'attracted' me to this (dead) creature! My Olympus camera has a 'Live Composite' function that can produce very interesting results.
