Jon, I just read your comments on my last pic. The Pink Geranium was well loved on Galiano. My In-laws used to drive up from the south end for their set menu of fresh local food. My husband and I drove past it the other day and new owners have restored the house and a new Pink Geranium sign has gone up. I’ll take a pic for you next time we are up in that neck of the woods.

Hello Delboy, thanks for your kind comments.
The set up was: camera on tripod pointing slightly upwards in front of my trusty picnic table. I then had a support to one side (actually a clothes horse) two bulldog clips holding a stick with bits of wire hanging from it and they each had half of the apple skewered on them. After a few test shots I worked out the best way to get everything in the frame. A small light to one side of the apple and another at my feet aimed upwards. I set the camera on self-timer, held the axe in between the two apple halves and snap, job done! I removed the bits of wire and increased the light on my face and generally tidied it up in software. My hair is long and untidy but not so white as that! 😎
Thanks for the research on the bench wording.
Thank Yoland, the pic would be great :-)
