There was a clear blue sky forecast so I took the opportunity to go to Great Coxwell (10 minutes drive) to try a star trail picture. This was my second attempt as I messed up my camera settings and had to start all over again, so only had time for a twenty minute exposure (120 x 10 secs) :-(
It's a 20 minute exposure (120 x 10 seconds). Olympus cameras have a unique feature called Live Composite. After taking one picture that is used as it's base, all remaining exposures ONLY record any increase or change in light. Hence, when the stars move, the camera records this as a new light source. I also did some light painting by shining a small torch on the church for a few seconds so that it would not appear as just a black shape.
