While my car was at the garage awaiting the outcome of investigations into dashboard warning lights, I spotted these sad-looking pumpkins on this window sill.
One hopes a lot of soup was made! I saw the skin of a Crown Prince having been carved and that is the absolute best for soup - so silky and such a fabulous flavour. I can only hope someone used the flesh and didn't just discard it!
