I have been a happy snapper ever since I got my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 100, at the age of 10. I've always taken lots of photos, to the annoyance of many of my friends, but my photos have never been technically good nor very inspired.

I got my first digital camera ~ six years ago and bought a dSLR a year ago. I'm barely out of the green box mode but am keen to learn. I plan on doing a course when I can find one locally which I hope will be early in the New Year.

In the meantime, the 365 project has definitely changed the way I see things. I am constantly on the lookout for photo opportunities and see potential pictures everywhere now. I still struggle to find interesting things to photograph however and my pics still tend to be of the happy snap variety.
