November 2015-23

Castor oil plants now much the worse for wear this morning.
This looks a very tall and profusely growning plant! Is it really used for castor oil?

@maggiemae Yes, apparently from the seeds which are very poisonous. I won't let them seed next year as our grand-daughter will be walking. This one, better seen on 4th November, is Ricinus communis "Impala", and there is a variety called "New Zealand Purple". They go to about 2 metres.
