Leaving our berth in East Cowes at 6am, Buster accompanied us to Bembridge on the east coast of the Isle of Wight. We had never set sail that early before, but it was well worth it to catch the tide and have the eastern Solent to ourselves.
Yesterday afternoon we had sailed uneventfully from Lymington to East Cowes, all the while keeping an eye on the thunderstorm developing over the mainland.
