On the way back from taking L & I to Gatwick Airport we paid a visit to Uppark, a National Trust property near Petersfield.
It was worth it for the setting of the house on the South Downs and to explore the "below stairs" life in the underground tunnels of the house. The work of the servants will be familiar to Downton Abbey fans!
I was fascinated by these copper pudding moulds. The shelves are really not level!
Now the top shelf is level but the time we get to the bottom shelf, that one isn't! I guess this shelving isn't level. I can't imagine making pudding in those moulds though they would look rather beautiful!
