There was a great atmosphere for late-night shopping in Alresford after the official arrival of Father Christmas. The mulled wine was especially popular and, with Broad Street closed to traffic, hundreds of people turmed out to enjoy the lights .
Not a fan of mulled wine, I'm sorry to say, but glad to see others are enjoying it. And congratulations to Alresford, for waiting until December to start the Christmas festivities.
