Thinking we should have kept the reef in, we had tacked to Wootton Creek with Suzette in a lively SE Force 5 and a lumpy sea. Here we met up with several other Shrimper boats from Chichester & Langstone Harbours on the Royal Victoria Yacht Club pontoon.
Some were surprised to find that they were left literally high & dry at low water. Today had one of the biggest spring tides of the year. Suzette's skipper was unlucky to have tipped into a small channel in the mud, of which more later.
