April 2018-6

A recreation of the Lamassu, made for the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square. This protective deity guarded the entrance to Nineveh, from about 700 BC until it was destroyed by IS in 2015. It has been made out of empty date syrup tins representing an industry of great significance before the Iraq wars.
Very creative
