A National League for Democracy Office in Myanmar 2014

I'm looking back through the years for photo inspiration here. At this time we were in Mawlamyine, southern Myanmar. The people were full of hope that electing Aung San Suu Kyi the following year would bring democracy. How wrong they were.

A very sad situation. Democracy is proving to be very fragile in so many places (like here in the USA.)
