@cejaanderson You could be right. There was a lot of bums in the area, too. Snapping this shot was just a casual afterthought- I'd taken probably 30 other shots that day. But upon review, this jumped out at me.
@jrambo001 Is there a stream nearby? Charlie's cousin was murdered in a bad part of down in San Diego and was found upside-down in a stream. He was a good person, but he was an addict. This was about 10 years ago.
This was taken in the middle of Downtown; I don't know of any nearby streams. There are some throughout the city, and the homeless are widespread.
I know a bit about addiction. And recovery. Sorry to hear about your husband's cousin's death. I do not remember news of the death.
