@aglennc@cejaanderson@miata2u@deu49097 A Facebook Friend posted a photo of a Magic-Brain Calculator (completely analog, handheld mechanical calculator) which I had as a kid. I had to have another one so I bought one off of eBay.
I thought photographing the whole thing would be too easy but the portion that you insert the stylus & move around the levers- that part looked interesting.
That DID look vaguely familiar! I'd love to watch over your shoulder as you go on your treasure hunts! I adored eBay...just had to walk away one day and never look back. It was about as much fun as I ever had, but it eventually came with a price!
@satinscape The used one depicted here did not come with a stylus or instructions, but I have found instructions online. I used to know how to operate one...back in 1974!
