Something incongruously fun about sketching a tool used in a varietal media... and you have the start of an image that might be made popular 100 years from now for being such an interesting antique!
@nanm@cejaanderson@Weezilou@susale It wasn't until I'd finished that I thought, "Maybe I ought to have powered it on, as then the lenses would have been extended out." But, whatever...
It is okay- I also sketched a bucket & a bubblegum machine that night, but went with this.
It was an okay endeavor back into sketching.
@tristansmum I think I have more talent for painting, which I also need to get back into- on vacation on the East Coast, currently, so just sketching & brought Linocut block carving tools (but haven't gotten into them yet).
