This isn’t the best composed shot of the day, but let’s be real about the iPhone X’s portrait mode for a moment: if I only post shots that came out “perfect” in that mode, every single one of my pictures of Diego will look exactly the same. So. Here’s a misfire that I actually quite like due to his being backlit (and for the adorable expression on his face). It’s a cute moment that Apple claimed I didn’t catch quite right, but which I’ll argue is still a worthwhile capture. Hmmm. Maybe I should unpack my Canon for a week.
