In the morning, before school today, I noticed the way the light was hitting his hair and I stopped, put him down on the dew-covered grass and asked him to give me a quick smile. He did so, my beautiful son, and now we have this lovely sun-filled moment to someday put in a frame, perhaps as a reminder to stop every once in a while and take in the beauty of the moment.
