In back of our house in a small yard beneath a copse of trees that border the athletic fields to the private high school where my fiancée teaches. And within that small area is a fire pit and this small, stone stool which is the perfect size for the kids to sit on. Now and again, both take a moment to have a seat. This time it was Diego’s turn, and as always he seized on the task with surprising dexterity. This kid loves to climb and balance. He’a going to be a lot of fun, even if he’ll be stopping my heart on the regular.
