The prettiest season for New England has been slow to arrive this year; Summer has tried to hang on well past its usual time for departure, resulting in a great deal of sinus discomfort and congestion for the whole family. Still, we New Englanders relish the opportunity to watch the world transform around us in an explosion of gorgeous color and Diego is no exception. I wonder if he understands the changes happening around him, the cooling air and shortening days. Given that his mom and I have traveled with him quite a bit, both locally and otherwise, I think he has a good grasp on the fact that nothing stays the same for very long!
