YouTube. My God. What has it done to this child? There are these really odd videos there which are screen captures of people playing Grand Theft Auto mods and doing über bizarre things like having Spider-Man drive a limousine through giant bowling pins while a helicopter is stuck to its roof. And while this foolishness is going on, children’s songs play in the background, including “Do You Know the Muffin Man.” I just realized, I wrote a bit about this already in a previous post, but it bears repeating: these videos are toddler crack. Look at this dude. Not a thing is going to break that trance. The Muffin Man is indeed formidable. Whether he is ally or foe remains to be seen.
