While it shouldn’t surprise me that Diego is opening the YouTube app on a phone by himself and successfully navigating various videos solo, it still does. And while it shouldn’t surprise me that he is dangerously close to figuring out the remote for our television - a feat for most adults who visit our home - here too I find myself slightly in awe. This child has a serious knack for figuring out how things work. And while it’s with great pride that I explain how he knows how to turn on our electric fireplace, it’s also with a bit of stunned wonder. He’s not even two yet, I keep saying over and over again. He’s not even two yet!
