While both of my sons completely adore their Nonnie and Papa, each does seem to have his favorite. JT has always been a Nonnie’s boy, even though he really looks up to Papa. And Diego? Despite a truly staggering affection for “The Nonster,” his largest affinity seems to lie with Papa Jack. I regularly ask Diego who loves him and almost every time - after Mommy, who ranks first - the answer is Papa. I think in this photo it’s easy to tell why. I adore the way my kids feel about my Dad and Mom-ish who came all the way back to New England from Texas to be with my sons. The love is crazy huge all around. It’s a blessing worth more than anything.
