Diego’s favorite action figure - blurred by my use of a 50mm lens at 1.4 in this photo - is a lanky version of Spider-man whom he affectionately calls “Cider-man!” For whatever reason, the word spider is always “cider,” especially when my right hand starts to move like it has eight legs and crawls up his side; a game called “tickle cider!” that he absolutely adores. But here we have several of his favorite things combined - cider-man, a cement mixer (which he calls “messenger”), and especially, trying to put cider-man INTO the messenger. If there’s one thing he adores doing, it’s putting guys into houses and vehicles - anything with doors. Sadly, this toy didn’t have doors and was too small for cider-man, but that’s ok. Sometimes it’s more fun just to imagine everything working anyway.
@lynnz I appreciate very, very much the comment on my writing. It’s a skill I have forever been working to develop. And while the pictures alone are worth a thousand words, I try to embellish even more to preserve those memories of which you speak.
