@jodimuli@vivienne@caeralee Thanks for the nice comments. The water in this little river is usually alot lower than it is now - that is why I get the nice reflection. Sometimes in the spring if the Mississippi is flooding this river will spill over the banks and we actually have a set of floodgates that keep our main street from flooding here in Galena IL. When visitors see the "gates" they will laugh and ask what are they for . . but they have been used multiple times in my lifetime - we are so lucky that they were built years ago. Our main streeet is very old with common walls and it would be terrible if it was flooded over and over.
