Well taken ...never paid attention..looks like they have very large bills for their size at the present. where about is your nest. I know they like it high with very little overhead so that bigger birds like our blackbirds can't swipe the young ones.
@bruni This nest is actually only 5 feet off the ground . . . I had to bend down to take this picture! When I got too close the parent birds started to fly at me so I took a few quick shots and then left them alone.
@saycheese Thanks for the fav -- I had to visit this nest 2 times to get this shot -- they were way too little the first time - they could barely hold their heads up!
