Through the Window

Wanted to photograph something besides ornaments for a day . . . here is a shot through the window of one of the many shops in the downtown main street of Galena IL. More "window" pictures to come . . .

Oh, how I'd love to see Galena this time of year. Love that city/town...whatever it's considered. ;) Such a charming photo!!

Wait until we have snow!! It is a city (don't know how they decide that) - I think it has something to do with the population. The main street shops are all decorated outside with roping and wreaths on all the street lamps. Once we get some snow it will be really nice to photograph. And on this weekend they have luminaria all through the town and up the steps and through the park. It is really pretty. Let me know when you are coming -- I can help you find some of the best places!
