What Faith Can Do

Our youth group put on a powerful skit this evening! I loved it!

Each person walked to front carrying a box, with the other side showing an opposite word of what you are seeing here. They played a different clip of music for each that really matched the emotion.....hate, stress, sorrow, gossip, fear, greed, pride.

Then they stood in a line with their boxes in front of them. Then a young man came up with a Bible, and he approached each person. They each rejected him.

He knelt down and prayed and reached up, took from Jesus, and touched his heart. Then he approached each person again. He showed them the Bible, they reached up to Heaven, pulled down, and touched their hearts. Then they turned their box to the other side with the positive word that comes from knowing Christ.

Then they took all their boxes and put them together to make this cross.

It was very moving!

i absolutely love this! the video was sooo moving! i watched it with my 14 year old! what a great idea! this would be so wonderful for the youth sermon we have once a year.... total fave!
