My dear Mother passed away today. I miss her so much already but know she is with the Lord Jesus. One of her favorite things to do was share the gospel with others, so in her memory, I'm posting these Bible Verses that explain how to be saved and go to Heaven.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. (John 3:16)
"What must I do to perform the works of God?" Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent. (John 6:28-29)
Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." (Acts 16:30-31)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
It is by faith you have been saved, through faith ---- and this not from yourselves --- it is a gift of God --- not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesian 2:8-9)
I'm very sorry for your loss Julie. This is a beautiful portrait of your Mom. I'm very glad to know your faith will help you through this time. My prayers are with you and your family.
