Tilt shift lens or process? It looks cool. OR, is it really a toy waterfall?

@adambralston It's not a tilt shift lens, but a miniaturization setting on my camera. Thanks, Adam! I love this effect, but don't want to use it too much. Ha ha! ;)

That is a really neat effect. I think this was a perfect use of this technique. Looks like a model railroad landscape.

@adambralston Thanks, Adam! If you go on youtube and search for tilt shift video, you will see some amazing videos using this technique. It's fascinating and mesmerizing! ;)

That SX40 is amazing. It does so many cool things for a PowerShot. I had the S400 and the S450 (Digital ELPH) at one time or the other. It's what sold me on Canon.

@adambralston Thanks, Adam! Yes, I've been really happy with my camera. I've been saving for about a year to get a true DSLR with a couple of good lenses. I want to do more with photography, but time and money limit me right now. :)

@juliedduncan Time = money. SO, the more money you have, the more time you have. The less money you have, the less time it takes to save it?

My logic might be wrong on that.

I hear you. I want a 60D, or really a Mark III, but as for now I have my Rebel XT. I checked the stats for camera on this 365 project. There are only something like 200 photos from a Rebel XT on this whole site... 113 of them are mine.....

BUT, it's not the camera that makes the image, it just takes the image. The artist is you.

Great effect Julie, I like to have a dabble myself with this process.

@gamelee Well, Lee, you're my inspiration! Didn't know that, did you! ;)
