I have never seen such detail! I'm a bit frightened of bees (actually all flying bug thingys) but I sort of want to pet this one...he's fuzzy! Fantastic capture!
@linnypinny Thank you, Lin! I used my zoom to get this shot. I was at least ten feet away. I don't like to get too close to bees, but they are usually so engrossed in the blossoms, they don't notice me. One of my goals is to get a bee in flight. Maybe this summer . . . :)
He does look quite cuddly, Lin! You would not have enjoyed my experience when I came in from the garden from 'shooting' bees and found one had lodged itself on my shoulder.
