Jimmy Stewart in "It's a Wonderful Life" - The same thought occurred to me out of the blue while I was in the woods on April 22, approaching the 2nd anniversary of my Mom's death. Grief is a long process with many ups and downs which most of us traverse in stoic silence. I'm sure my Mom would be pleased if she knew I'm starting to heal. As soon as I made this shot, I knew the title, but it's taken me nearly two months to have the courage to post it. It's very flawed technically, but it means a lot to me nonetheless. For those of you out there suffering bereavement, you aren't alone. And, take as long as you need. There are no rules as to when you "should" be "done."
