Bucephalus Rising

Wow! Is this a Hanoverian?

@pplutz Thanks, Trish! First of all, I had to look up the word "Hanoverian". Learned something new! Second, this is a statue at a sculpture park we visited this week in Grand Rapids (Michigan), the Frederick Meijer Gardens. It was inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's horses. It is quite impressive - very large. If you google it, you'll see what I mean. Thanks! :)

I have been there, and the horse is a site to behold. One of my favorite things about the Meijer Gardens. Great processing on this!

I saw Bucephalus and thought it said Bluecephalus. We have a horse outside our airport in Denver. Best way to describe it is a rearing demon blue bronco with menacing glowing evil eyes of red. It's got different nick names. I like to call it "Bluecifer" http://www.akphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/place-11.jpg

Except, in that photo, the eyes are yellow for some reason...
