Mine and Yours. (:

I live in a city called Minden. 1200 years ago there was no city yet, but just a castle standing there. Two imperators was fighting whose castle it was, when suddenly one of them decided "This castle should be mine and yours". "Mine and yours" means "Min and Din" in Old German... from this the name "Minden" developed.
Today "Min and Din" is still the slogan of Minden and so every year it's part of the town centre's christmas lighting.

Lovely lights, and I appreciate the history lesson. How nice that it had meaning such a long time ago and still has meaning.
