Sandrina

Not the best picture, but it feels appropiate.
I lost a classmate today.
WIth 'lost' I don't mean she died, but she will never come back to us again.
She had been missing for about 2 months straight so all of us were wondering where she was at. Today her mom entered our classroom and told us what happened. Sandrina had decided to start a psychiatric therapy. She seems to be fine now, but the thing is even her best friends didn't know anything about her having a mental disorder. Her two best friends burst out in tears immediately and it was the saddest thing I've ever seen. The mood in the class was terrible after that and everyone's asking themselves if we have something to do with it.
After this term she will not come back either because she will change the school due to subject elections. So we will probably never see her again, a shocking parting without being able to say goodbye.
It's hard.
Get well soon Sandrina, whatever you have.
das ist wirklich traurig!

So sorry to hear this. Your capture is very appropriate - life can be quite delicate, just like the dandelion...I am glad to know she is in treatment... prayers sent for you all.

Your classmate is in my thoughts and prayers... I think this shot is lovely, really evokes a feeling of longing (to me).

So sorry to hear that you are all so upset about your friend. Mental illness is so very hard at any age but truly dreadful for the young. Hopefully your's and everyone on 365's prayers and thoughts will filter through and some measure of peace be found for all.
The picture is so apt and fits your narrative so well. Take care of each other.

Sad story and it can happen to all of us. I had such a high powered job that the stress finally took it's toll on me. It's a very similar thing with your friend and I hope she gets the right support. I can't say you will never see her again, your paths may well cross again and you can give her your support then. As a close, I was off work for months and had to change my job, hypnotherapy was my saviour.

@ladymagpie @barneyone @hayleymolloycook @linnypinny @joemuli @carys @annika82 Guys, thanks for reading the narrative and your emotional support. Sandrina is only 14 and I do have experience with mental illnesses too but I know how hard it is to fight it sometime. We were quite close and I often talked to her in the morning but not as close as her best friends as I said who were really heartbreaking to watch. I can't imagine how I would feel if it happened to MY best friend! One of the two already had a bad day as her cousin was diagnosed with cancer a day ago and now this news, I'm so sorry for her :/ I hope I can be there for them, but it's hard to - after school they ran out of the classroom and hugged outside really intensely, me and my best friend left as we knew we couldn't help in the moment. But if there's any chance I can help, I'll try to :)
Please keep Sandrina and her two best friends in their thoughts and prayers and thank you all :)

That's sad but the most important thing is that your classmate is getting the help she needs. I hope in time she is able to catch up with her friends again. The image is definitely appropriate.
