Patterns from a snowy balcony

I had planned to go to two different outdoor flea markets to buy a bicycle, but it snowed all day. @synke (who lives in Berlin) wisely advised me not to test bicycles today, so I stayed home and worked instead. I set up my tripod and took photos throughout the day, in various conditions of snow. This one is the most clear of the building, and the patterns of the windows play off of the patterns on my balcony rail.

Inspired by @Taffy's style.

I love how the snow is so evenly distributed and cuts across the photo dividing near and far. Great pattern work.

Great geometry in this shot! Perfect for B&W.

Cool shot -- perfect B&W as Lisa said. The lines are great -- the snow cutting across horizontally and then the vertical of the building, and then the negative space from the sky. I also think the stark black of the balcony contrasting with the soft almost foggy view of the building in the distance works well. Very nice.
