Mauerpark Flohmarkt by jyokota

Mauerpark Flohmarkt

In search of a used bicycle, I was recommended the Mauerpark Flea Market. It was completely muddy as it was a rare warm(ish) day after all our snow, but nevertheless very lively! My new friend (did I mention, I have a friend as of yesterday!?) is a professor from Finland, also new to Berlin and living alone, and she suggested we buy some mannequins to talk to at our flats. Sadly, I didn't photograph those potential companions. But I did photograph this table full of flea market finds!
Those flea markets are fun. It's interesting how some people's leftovers might be a treasure to someone else. I need one of those big clocks with big bells to give it to my daughter so help her to wake up on time... haha.

Wow...some cool stuff...those are the best kind of alarm clocks...they really wake you up! Did you find a bike?

Love the colours in this! Mauerpark can be hellish, it's always heaving with people, but going to that white van right in the middle selling Turkish Gözleme makes it all worth it!

Much fun! I like the jumble of it all, the colors, and the mix of items. It just captures the whole feel of a flea market.

For some reason, I find the line of Nutcrackers humorous. Such an odd combination of items. I would love to wander here in person.

Fabulous! I love flea-markets and could spend all day picking through the detritus in search of some little treasure.
