The TV Tower of Alexanderplatz is one of the iconic symbols of Berlin, and visible throughout city center as it is 368 meters, and the tallest structure in Germany. It was built in the late 1960s by the GDR. It makes me wonder what East Berliners must have felt and thought when gazing down on the west during the years of the wall's existence.
With @taffy's feedback, I uploaded the B&W version. She noted how it featured the architectural aspects of the tower, and I like how it fits the era in which it was built.
Very interesting shot! Love the b&w editing and the night capture. Well done! I visited the tower back before the fall of the wall. Unforgettable experience.
