It was Fiesta time in San Antonio, and festivities (including the River Parade) abounded throughout the River Walk area where I was staying. But being there on a business trip meant that the closest I got to such celebrations was at the airport gift shop.
Oh no, the airport gift shop. :( I have turned to a certain world-wide collection of goods at the gift shop: the floaty pen--if it's not at the airport, it's at the tackiest gift shop in town -- my poor friends will go into these for me in search of one as a gift for me, especially since I don't travel as much anymore). Love the bright colors of the flowers and the ribboned "hair" upon which they dance!
