This ballroom was established in 1913 and to visit it today, you would realize that much has remained the same, perhaps even this little corner! I was on a night bike ride when I happened across a sea of bicycles, and heard music and festivities. I had been there for a delicious lunch but it was a very quiet place then. On this Weekday evening, there was ballroom dancing on the second floor, all kinds of dancing on the first floor, and a lovely garden serving dinner outside. The energy was lively and fun. Attire varied from profesional dance shoes to I-just-got-off-my-bicycle look. This may call for a repeat visit to practice some more AI Servo on moving people in difficult lighting places.

@synke -- thanks for info! I couldn't go but it sounded like a fabulous meetup combining bicycling and photograph. I joined the group so maybe next time. I will write to you at your email.
@rachelwithey@dstod@dolphin@pflaume@vankrey -- thanks for commenting in exactly the same way I felt when I saw this image in front of me. I wish I had done a better job of capturing the inside scenes that encapsulate the essence of the place, but will work on figuring out how to photograph in unusually lit places where people are moving a lot!
