I lived in Berlin from mid-February to June 7, and this was my last day. Every day, I left my flat (third floor on the photo of the building), rode along the river, and went to Westhafen Behala Canals. The tanks and containers greeted me there. I studied in the big red building, the temporary home of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, the library where I had my grant from the Prussian Heritage Foundation. I am deeply appreciative for this opportunity to do my research, read, write,and think all while living in the wonderful city of Berlin.
