The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Riccardo Muti, performed a free concert outside in Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. They played an all-Tchaikovsky concert comprising of The Tempest, Sleeping Beauty, and Symphony No 4. It was a delightful evening, with a picnic dinner, and the @Taffy macaroons that have become the tradition for these events. We sat under the stars and enjoyed the lovely weather, too.
Sorry for the late posting -- I was looking back over the month and noticed I had forgotten to post this one!
