The Mime by jyokota

The Mime

He was quite amazing -- and about 200+ people were gathered in the square, watching him. In this photo, he's walking away from his suitcase and cane on the far left and toward the taxis on the (unseen) right.

The cathedral is under restoration, and the facade is covered with something that has the cathedral's image painted onto it -- very fake looking, of course, so I turned the photo black and white to alleviate that fakeness, and it turns out I really like this mime in b&w, too. I had just arrived in Chile, and unfortunately, I had nothing in my pocket to put into the mime's hat.
Lovely composition

I love the way you've caught the scene and the mime's expressive face and body language. Perfect black and white! Fav

I really like this shot. the way you've matched the direction of the walking man and the line of background buildings focusses the eye very well.

This is beautifully captured and love that the mime made eye contact with you. Also great idea converting to b&w, i don't think I'd have noticed the cover over the cathedral.
