Sunrise in the Dunes

The colors went from too-dark-to-see-anything-without-headlamps to purple/pinks to golden glow.

My LR practice today ended up with an import into Aperture because I simply couldn't figure out how to get polarization onto the clouds otherwise.

What great colors and textures... and a great view! I think there is something called a "polarizing filter" but I can't remember if it a Lightroom thingy or a Photoshop thingy. I have "trip envy" every time I see your shots. :)

You might be able to use the graduated filter in LR5. One option is to crop out the clouds too. It's gorgeous. Loving the series!
