One of the "Seven Wonders of Poland" and typically photographed at night with beautiful orange lights glowing from it, reflected into the Vistula River. But my host (also a Fulbrighter from the US so not a local there) drove me up and down the river last night and we couldn't figure out how to get to a place where we could park the car and take photos so instead, you have the city view just as the golden hour was beginning.
How beautiful that it stayed at "medieval hight" - no taller buildings to distort the feeling of the town being old and original. It is almost possible to imagine how it might have been without the modern bridge and the river bank. Beautiful panorama.
This looks like it was a great area to photograph. The scene goes so deeply -- and the bridge at the ends looks worth of some more photographs as well!
