And my good friend @Taffy did not wake up at 3:30 to see me off. But the sun did. Departing out of a small airport means riding the bus (on the right) to the plane.
You took this as Bill and I were driving in the taxi and watching the sun rise over the large expanse of beach you see coming down from a hill. The timing was perfect -- except my camera was packed away! I like your "departure" shot. And glad you still think I'm a good friend despite not getting up to say goodbye!

I prefer the original one. I think the fuselage in this is sort of heavy for it's placement in the image. I like the silhouettes, but none are as distinct as the plane's tail in the other which conveys so clearly where you are.
I agree with @taffy... I prefer this image, because the tail silhouette is less dominant, but still makes the point, and there is more pretty sky. I really enjoyed your trip to Greece, btw. ;)
I just posted an alternate image that I might like even better -- what do you think? http://365project.org/jyokota/challenges-and/2015-05-25
